Toys are bought where are the elves to wrap it??

Yesterday the boy and I finished all of our christmas shopping and within budget. which is important when your jobless. We even managed to get a few extra trinkets for the monsters, monkies and princesses. Although I wish I had the money to get the them all those big ticket items..  but I managed to get them some cute things. Michaels had the best deals, we had to take Maddies gift back to walmart since that little princess has everything and already had the gift. So we got our money back and looked at walmart but I wanted to get her something she would really enjoy. So we headed off to michaels and bought you three craft items for the price of the one toy from walmart :) This kid is going to be crafty. I am really excited in what I bought her. Best part all three items were on clearance what should have cost me at least 40 plus dollars cost me half that including tax.
We even got the monsters one more toy each. I feel really good about the gift I got. Now I am just wondering where the elfs are to wrap all the gifts.... wait what??? no elves??? ugh good thing brandon is coming over to help. being as how our Christmas starts tomorrow at noon.
Also today the monsters, the bestie, possibly the boy, hopefully maddie and I will be making my moms sugar cookies... by my moms I mean her recipe of course.  Then Brandon and I are going to go to look at christmas lights in Rancho. Maybe even bring Maddie along. Then tomorrow we start our christmas with my dad, jan and the whole gang.  So Merry Christmas Eve's Eve.

tis the season

The countdown has begun... christmas is official less then a week away. And i dont think I am anywhere near done christmas shopping. not that i really have the money to get everyone everything I want to get them for christmas. Well this last week as been full of editing of course, I finally got done with our christmas cards. The last of them should be mailed out on monday. I did get  everything I needed to get done to go to disneyland on wednesday. That raised my spirits a bit. anyway hope you all have a great christmas just in case i dont blog until then... but who knows.

christmas cards out the wazoooo

whew.. i think i can say i am official done making christmas cards.. i finished the last of the choices and email them to a client. (hopefully no changes will need to be made). I got my cards in today so that was exciting. now to write a little note for each person.. make it a little more personable. hope that touches someones heart. i am trying really really hard to be in a holiday mood.. but its hard. i am sorely dissapointed in myself for that.. but i guess right now its just really hard. it seems as though christmas is still far away but its only next week or something. the last two christmases i have been very buh hum bugie. i used to love christmas now it seems to just disapoint. which makes me sad. i did however watch a few christmas movies while editing. dont get me wrong i am no scrooge.. i just a little sad over this holiday. all i want for christmas is a job. is that too much to ask for??? ok enough wallowing.
i watch DJ today he was such a good boy. we had a good time. he basically just sat by me and did his "homework" while i worked on pictures man that kid is smart. learning to write letters at three. he gets soo excited to write it right. a big huge grin comes across his face. love moments like that.
tomorrow i am hoping to get even more in the spirit of christmas by going to the happiest place on earth to reward myself for finishing all my projects on time (even early actually). I really want to see its a small world all done up and the raindeer and the snow. i am trying to convice myself that christmas isnt about gifts and that my neice and nephew will be happy no matter what but i really just want to hand them the world. isnt that what aunties are for???

ahhh its too close to christmas

So at one point i was very excited for christmas and all the fun it brings. now I am just sad I cant spoil my two little monsters and my niece. I really just want to buy them what they want.. or what i want them to want. but being jobless and as of right now no potentional job openings i cant do that. *sigh* luckily i started christmas shoppping early and got some stuff for them.

I am however greatful for my amazing clients who have continued to book appointments and give me a little cash.. to get through :) that being said i am up to my eyeballs in christmas edits to do.  that being said... i must get back to them. exspecially if people want them before christmas :)

Little Monster's Crush

So I took a little break yesterday from all the editing and job hunting to go to disneyland. For good reason folks, to take mine and the boy's xmas picture. Our photos were taken by the incredably talented Dorothy. We decided to stay for a little while after the pictures were done. We kept little Monster with us. We made it to a few rides (quite a few) in four hours. We did space mountain, buzz light year, tarzan, saw tink, had lunch, saw santa, toy story mania, and the little mermaid merry go round. Longest line of course Mania. Monster was super excited to see Tink(more excited to see her then Santa). He kept asking to see tink. So we waited in line, saw Sparkle first. then when he knew it was time for Tink, he got all excited and ansy to see her. Talking about is it time yet, and everything he wanted to tell her. Then when it was his turn, he became all shy, walking behind the mushroom. Tink was great, started talking to him. Got him to pose really cute. Then she ask for a kiss, Monster got a little smirk on his face look at me, I told him go ahead. Then he kissed her on the cheek, gave her a hug and ran back to me. I think the rest of the day he was on cloud nine, he kept asking to see the picture and then he would blush. It remined me of the Peter Pan song, Why the red mans red. I think I can safely say Monster has a crush on tinkerbell. I was just super excited that Tinkerbell was soo great and really made our trip.

So that was our trip to Disneyland. Dont worry folks I got a few edits done too. Made people happy, I think. And now today back to the grind of editing, and card making.

And at it again

So I have been a little bummed these past 3 days or so.. but I have decided not to let it get me down. As hard as it is. But I know God has better plans for me. I was wondering when I woke up today where the heck did the time go?? Its freakin Nov 30th. Tomorrow it the first day of the last month of 2010. I just got used to saying 2010 and now in 32 days its going to be 2011?? (side note I almost wrote 2010 again oops) I have a jammed packed first week of december, Today busy working on pictures I NEED to get out this week. Good thing I am almost done with the last order, just a couple of tweeks to do on the others, then bank today, blog of course, laundry, start on the other two orders, unpack, figure out how I am going to arrange my room, get my boyfriends xmas list to give to my mother to give to his secret santa, look for a job,buy xmas shirts for pictures tomorrow hopefully disneyland with the boyfriend, at dland taking my xmas pictures by the amazingly wonderful photographer Dorothy, enjoy disneyland, maybe make it back in time for some crafting at mosiac, thrusday, more editing, clean the bathroom, more unpacking, hanging pictures, work on my xmas cards, post office, grocery shopping, dinner with stacey and mike and the beautiful smart wonderful niece of mine Maddie, Friday, editing, unpacking, xmas cards, maybe hang with my monsters, Saturday taking my sister, stacey and mike and maddie's xmas pictures, edit a few for her cards, nicoles cards (got to work on them before that too), everyones cards tweeks, Kake's 20th birthday party :), Sunday church THANK THE LORD i get to go :) somewhere in there i have to make a costume for kake's party for me and brandon. and do lots of editing. anything I am missing??? i feel like it. haha. Lots of doing..

Whew Christmas Season is here... And I have lots to do :) But this makes me happy... really it does... I am crazy busy editing pictures.. and working.  I barely see my bestie whom i live with and the monsters.. even less so. The boy I see maybe once a week. And my family forget about it. haha i miss them though. Hoping to see at least my sister, her man and the princess this week. I misss church alot... but I am hanging out with santa everyday. :) and santa know the true meaning of christmas isnt that great.  i love santa.. he is super great. I also recently moved.. the internet hasnt been turned on yet so i steal or rather borrow the malls wifi. I it works in our breakroom/ storage room. yay... so here is a sneak peak on some pictures I edited during my break.

Grandma

8 years ago i met a women named Nelma. She quickly become like a grandmother to me. I lived with her for 18 months and shared many great memories with her. From her falling asleep in her blue chair that always tipped over to camping with her. And those birds she loved. This past few months have been hard on her. And sadly today she let go of this world. Its hard to write this and not tear up. She is or i guess rather was an amazing woman. She may be remember as fiesty and not easy to get along with. But once she fell in love with you there was no leaving Grandmas heart. Through the fights and the curse words you knew that she only ment well. life wont be the same without her and I will miss her greatly but I am also glad she isnt suffering anymore. Grandma i hope your enjoying heaven with your daughter. And you and Karen dont cause too much trouble. I love you Nelma Jean Littleton. Always

Halloween and the likes

So happy November folks can you believe its only one month and 20 days until CHRISTMAS. and only 20 days until we eat soo much food we can prolly feed a starving nation for a year????? yuuuuuummmmmy thanksgiving. so once again its been too long since I have posted. My house is sick. yep the whole dang house except little monster and me. I escaped to AZ for my vacation. So that is where I am blogging from. I hope by the time I get home EVERYONE is feeling better and littlest  monster doesnt get sick. I had  a good halloween my sister had her halloween/housewarming party.. that was good times. The boy and I carved pumpkins. The bestie, her hubby and the monsters and I went to Mosiac Inland Halloween Fling. And its safe to say the monsters had fun and got WAY to much candy. Then the boy and I went to his house and handed out treats. so good day :) Then I finished my crafts and sooo excited to give them to the person. packed for my trip, got a new job and now I am safely in AZ. Project and Pumpkins

Ok hopefully my computer/internet desides to work. Its been acting funking and its annoying as hell--o. So as you may or may not know I have been working on a really great fun project for a friend. cant tell you what it is or who its for but I cant wait to give it to them. I have superly enjoyed working on them. I will be kinda be sad and will have to find a new project. I kinda want to put up a sneek peek. i took some photos that you cant tell what I am doing or what it is. just super detailed photos. maybe I will put those up. I hope that this person like this project as much as I have enjoyed working on them. Yesterday Brandon and I finally got our pumpkin, not at a pumpkin patch that I was hoping to get it at but fun to carve and spend time with just me and Brandon. Brandon did a really good job in the carving and I like to think I did a good job in the gutting. Ya I guess most couple would have done it differently the guy gutting and the girl carving but Brandon is the artist. He did a really good job. I enjoyed watching him work. So that is enough of me babbling. Picture time:)

If you dont have anything nice to say...

Pretty much say it in a blog?? haha j/k. I was wondering why yet again I havent wrote on my blog lately. then i thought well maybe i just havent had anything nice to say. and since I wont put all that negitivity on the world wide web i havent written anything. Work has been soooooooo slow. barley getting hours. which is no fun. end of season is a bummer. just when i really started to enjoy work.. its taken away. well on the bright side of that i have an interview for santa plus on thrusday for the tyler mall. it for the managment postion. hopefully/prayfully i get it. i could really use a good job for a while. also i am hoping to win PCH (yes i know pathetic, but  girl can dream.) its also pathetic i had to look up the word pathetic on google to know how to spell it. not the greatest speller. a week from thrusday i will be driving to az. yay... cant wait. i miss my friends there. hopefully i get enough bussiness while i am there to support my trip. :) speaking of trip i need to call my mom. also i have what just over a week to finish my project for a friend of mine in az. and i need to go baby shopping for Z's baby. and buy new work shoes. as mine have holes in them. baby shopping is more fun. so other then work or lack there of i have been doing a whole lotta notta. off to baby shopping. and project doing. speaking of which i need to call my dad.

Weddings and housesitting and life

Its been a while since I posted anything. oooops... I have been busy or havent had internet or much to say. So as you know I cut my hair. Chopped those locks. I also spent a week with out internet. I have no idea how I survived. I was housesitting my aunt and she doesnt have internet. strange I know. but I did fall in love with her dog. Clinger.
