Internet-less

Soo I have been internet-less since saturday, which for most I assume isnt long. But its killing me. Exspecially since job now only eccept apps online, and then there is email, craigslist for jobs, not to mention facebook, my only source of tv hulu, blogging, monster game that the big monster has been dying for me to play so he can watch, then there is editing, and whatever else it is i do on here. So right now I am at starbucks using their internet but its really slow I was hoping that it would be a little faster so i can do more. But its super slow. hopefully our internet will be up and running tomorrow. which is good I have at least 3 blog postings that I can do. plus I need to get back in the habit of applying for at least 10 jobs a day. on a bright note conserning the job hunt I am now working with a temp agency to help me find work, just official signed up yesterday, called today but alas nothing. I am hoping if the internet decides to go slightly faster I  can edit some pictures and at least do a teaser post on my sisters pictures feature her new mohawk yes you heard me right SISTER and MOHAWK. who knows if it will. it took like 15 minutes just to get the freaking site open. I know Kake really wants to see some of these pics. I am trying sis I swear. if the site doesnt upload these pics soon I am going home, I have a headache since I didnt sleep last night. I am also very tired.  and getting cranky. and this post is becoming just me rambling. oh well. come on internet... at least let me edit one picture for my sister. and internet guy tommorrow please fix our internet. ya the pictures are almost uploaded so depending on how long it takes to edit them I will have at least one done and posted on my blog.

Blogs and Cards

So I have decided that I need to blog more not because I have a million fans wondering about my life and whats happening I only have 5. but its more of a document of what my life is for when I get older, I can remember those special moments, moments that are fleeting. Ones that are life changing and life shattering and those that just put a smile on my face. Nobody else is going to write in the life of aimee but me. So I might as well write, for myself, my five wonderful fans, those that just happen to scroll on by and for my kids someday. when they want to know who I was as a "kid". I remember the day my mom let me read her diary. It was by far one of the greatest books I ever read. I saw my mom not only as a mom but once a teenager and young adult. A person with feelings and crushes. I remember being really sad my mom didnt keep writing in a diary when it was over. she does do a prayer journal.. never read those. so someday my kids can read their moms blog, which i guess is this generations form of a journal. they can see i am not all rules and bedtimes but a person with crushes and thoughts. and how through trail and ere I became who i am.

On more of a whats happening note. Bestie held a scrapping party yesterday. SOOOO much fun. I got 3 cards done. For a few hours, I got to forget I was the girl struggling to find a job, the girl who doesnt know where her next car payment will come from. I was  a girl with a mission to make cards. And cards were made. And I had fun playing with my cricut along with Kalene's scrapping toys. By the way thanks for letting me play with them and helping with my cards. Two of these cards will have to be mailed out to AZ shortly, one is off to my brother, the other to my littlest monster. Two cards I am posting have been made already and given to Candi for her 21st and Kirk for his birthday. I have at least two more cards to make before feb. might even do it this week.

so even more news... my sister cut her hair in a mohawk.. yes I said my SISTER. only Kake. hhahaha.

Preschool

Soo I started doing "preschool" with little monster and off track school with big monster. We are working our way up to hopefully a 3 hour class, which include activities and outside time. right now its strictly book work. So here is what the mosters are learning.
Little Monster.
Color of the day :Red , he colored a page red and was really picky that it had to be red red not to pinkish red because the "color is red, not pink". traced the word red and drew a picture of something that was red. his drawing a red plastic cup.
Number of the day: 0, he colored all the fish with zero spots, traced the word zero and wrote 0 on his page. He really liked the number 0. he drew it very well
Shape of the day: circle, which include 2 pages of tracing and drawing circles, and then drawing a snowman which he loved.
letter of the day: B, he had one workbook page writing and tracing the letter b, he has the sound down really good still working on the reconize of the letter he always just wants to say the sound.

Big Monster:
we mainly do review of kindergarten work with him so he doesnt go back on track forgetting everything. he did the letter S two worksheets, filling in the missing number worksheet, color by numbers, beginning sounds worksheets 3 of them, which he did very well. and he is working on adding sums up to 6. I was pleasantly surprised to see him do so well on that worksheet. I think he really enjoys math.

Tomorrow I believe will be Big Monsters last day of off track and then he goes back to school. So we will do one more day of review and then off to school :)
Little monster, we will continue to do the letter of the day, shape, color, and number. along with craft time, and outdoor play. and maybe start with days of the week.

any other suggestions would help. for sure. :) if you know any free websites with printables. that would be more than awesome.

I really enjoy doing "school" with them.. makes me feel usefull when right now I really dont.

On other news I watch maddie and nala today... what a fun pair they are :)

What a great Knight

On Saturay, my mom, Alan, Kyle an Aaron drove out here from AZ for our annual Christmas after Christmas weekend. They got here late saturday night. So our weekend didnt start until sunday. From Mom and Alan to all the kids was a trip to medevil times. and let me just tell you if you have never been you should go. I had a blast. Our knight was the BLUE KNIGHT. and he did well, he didnt win. super bummer but he made it all the way to the end. and he was awefully cute. :) I dont think I ever cheered so loud in my life. and I have been to a lot of sport events and have been known to cheer for my packers standing on couches. But this was true entertainment. The food was good too. It is safe to say that everyone had a good time. Thanks Mom and Alan. now onto the pictures.
